Embu Kawa School has been bestowed an Honorary Award in the category of “The Change Maker in Education” in the 2024 Global EduQuality Awards. This Award by Opportunity International seeks to identify schools which have demonstrated the greatest level of innovation and determination to improve the quality of education in their schools using Pathways of Excellence.
Africa Opportunity International works in 8 countries with over 3,000 schools. The schools that met the requirements and were nominated to compete were 71 schools, with Embu Kawa School emerging victorious and winning the award.
